Mary Waldera is a Presentation Manager, Consultant and Trainer. Owner of MCW & Associations, Ms. Waldera offers services to organizations and individuals for live speaking events and on-going projects.
Most recently, as a Graphic Specialist for Presentation Strategies, Inc. based in Raleigh, North Carolina, she provided on-site customer support in Speaker Ready/Slide Review meetings, Audience Response events, Presentation Management, and Regulatory Presentation Management (FDA Advisory Committee) Services in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Previously Ms. Waldera was a Visual Communications Designer for the Global Product Sales Group of Johnson Controls, Inc., a Fortune 100 company headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked for Johnson Controls for twenty years.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Product Sales, Waldera was responsible for all visual communications for the Global Sales Groups including Webcasting Production, Presentation pre-event and show support, Presentation Design, Speaker Coaching, and Special Event Coordination and Promotions.
As a PowerPoint expert and Microsoft Certified Professional, Ms. Waldera designed and developed high-end strategic corporate presentations. She was regularly requested to design and consultant on numerous special projects throughout the Corporation by top level executives. Previous to working in Sales at Johnson Controls, Waldera held positions in both the International Division and Market Planning & Research Department.
Waldera has been a member of the Presentations Council of InfoComm International for four years most recently serving on the Steering Committee as Chair of Membership and Recruiting. A past member of the International Association of Presentation Professionals (IAPP) she was a member in good standing for eight years.
Waldera is a member of Octodea, an association of small media-related businesses that work together to solve customers needs. She is also a member of Soho Network an organization of small business owners dedicated to the growth of small business. Recently published in Soho Magazine September, 2006s issue dedicated to Technology, Waldera is a regular speaker at Concordia College in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and has numerous speaking credits with the Presentations & Training Exposition, InfoComm International and PowerPoint Live! Conferences.
