Dave Yewman is the president of DASH Consulting Inc., a strategic communications firm that helps companies develop clear, concise and compelling language before talking to outside audiences. DASH uses a combination of high level strategic thinking and digital video to massage a message that, once captured, can be used to influence multiple audiences.
Before founding DASH, Dave was a senior vice president at Weber Shandwick, the world's largest public relations agency, and also worked on the Microsoft account at Waggener Edstrom. A former award-winning newspaper reporter and columnist, Dave has conducted media and speaker training sessions for more than 250 executives at a variety of organizations, including Microsoft, CIGNA, NetIQ, Timberline Software, Digimarc, Portland Relief Nursery and Smart Mediary Systems. Yewman has spoken to various groups on how to use media relations as a strategic weapon in communications campaigns, including Boise's Kickstand organization and American Airlines.
