Line By Line Teleprompting is located in San Jose, California and has been providing camera and presentation prompting service in the San Francisco Bay Area, United States and worldwide since 1988. Line-By-Line has been selling both LCD Presentation Prompting systems, the prezT since 1999. It just debuted its LCD video prompting system, the "Z/15"this year at Infocomm 2001. The two systems take advantage of using the same reversible LCD monitors for teleprompting. Reversible monitors offer two major advantages:

1. Can operate with any PC or Mac teleprompting software

Different prompting venues require specialized teleprompting equipment. For camera prompting, Line By Line provides:

• Battery-operated systems that work for outdoor teleprompting shoots.
• A lighter 12-inch LCD prompting monitor is used when the video shoot requires a jib arm. Although smaller than the 15-inch, the 12-inch offers a brighter LCD screen for easy readability.
• For steadicam shots, Line By Line offers a 6-inch LCD monitor weighing less than one pound to meet weight and readability situations.
• For video shoots that require camera-to-talent distances over 30 feet, Line By Line has 27-inch monitors for distance prompting.

For Presentation Prompting, Line By Line features the prezT as its prime Presidential Prompting system. The prez features 15-inch reversible LCD monitors, yet only uses a 4-inch high monitor box for its stealth, low-profile look. This system can either prompt full text or PowerPoint slide presentation software. One additional advantage of the prezT is that it packs up into a single piece of shock-mounted luggage.

If the presenter wants to "walk the stage," Line By Line can provide 27-inch floor monitors strategically placed to facilitate easy prompting by the presenter.

Line By Line also has the Personal Prompter that features 4-inch monitors that actually sit on the podium. These units provide a strategic tool for international travel to reduce travel expenses.
